Under the cooperation of European Union, Life Long Learning Comenius school partnership program six European schools held their first project meeting a Kandó Téri Általános Iskola, Budapest XVIII., Hungary.

During the four-day-long program flow they were welcomed by the district major, held a conference of the task in the first term of the project year then met the beauties and attractions of Budapest and the fascinating Danube river valley from Szentendre via Visegrád to Esztergom.

On the first day at the city council of the XVIII district, Budapest László Mester welcomed the visitors including teachers and children. He talked about the developing infrastructure and environment for the education and cultural life of the host district as well as the wide scale of the cooperation network which had got richer by the six countries' involvement.

Madrid, 11-15, February, 2009.

Besides a through revision of the term left in their 1st year project work the meeting gave a good possibility to deepen friendship by spending time together during the meeting days.

Our host the Gabriel Garcia Marquez School in Getafe welcomed us on the first day with a grandiose, colourful program flow including a music-dance jamboree of the smalls & elders, the kids & adults. A tableau of kindergarten children with the colours of each nation involved, and lively Spanish dance and music built the feeling of friendship and hospitability we felt during the whole meeting. Visiting classes the same milieu affected us by the children to say and sing or draw and play cultural parts of the quest countries.
